Great place for auto needs. They make sure to communicate with you through the entire process and let you know what to expect. When we build our relationships with our clients as we have been doing for the past 24 years we always want our clients to be completely satisfied and strive to achieve this before, during and after services are complete. We ask our clients that are not 100% satisfied to please contact any member of our team so we can address it right away by speaking to us in person or a phone call or even an e mail or text. I am sorry we were not able to accomplish this on the service of the Acadia. I have listed relevant items below with the review it's self where trust looks to be in question as well a clear understanding for the reason that $100.00 was necessary to properly service the vehicle. Our goal is that you are very comfortable with all aspects of the service so we can earn your trust. We always call for authorization Before preforming any work as part of the transparency in our core values. When a client is not 100% comfortable with what is being recommended this is a great time to stop everything and discuss everything ahead of time. Since there are several things that can cause a dying battery, we have learned that a careful systematic approach that looks for any underlying problems that can cause a battery to fail or a battery to just become discharged is the correct way to care for the vehicle and help prevent future problems that can cause damage to other components and sometimes unnecessary expenses. ******************* If you feel that we did not properly do our job at any level, I would be fine with refunding you the difference of the $100.00 for the amount of the man hours spent by our team that were all part of the services for the Acadia that you feel we deserve. **************************************************************************** I went to Craig’s Car Care with a dying battery, expecting a free battery check to confirm my beliefs and then purchase a new one. 5 hours later I called to check on my vehicle and was told the total charges were almost $300 to replace it. The battery was $165 and I was charged an additional $100 for what they called an electrical test of my whole system. Makes you go hmmm! ****************************************************************************** National labor guide (Mitchell ) calls for 0.6 of one hour (just over 30 minuets) for replacing a battery and 0.6 of one hour for testing the battery/alternator/starter/battery cables/ power drains (draws) This is the correct way to preform these task and protects the vehicle, the technician and the client. *************************************************************************************** Our company's mission statement and vision is to properly service and repair our clients vehicles without cutting corners. *************************************************************************** Total labor time billed for your service was 0.5 for both testing and install. $100.00 an hour is a very reasonable labor rate. **************************************************************************************** Technician Notes: Vehicles battery originally shows RECHARGE & RETEST. After charging battery for one hour battery is testing BAD & REPLACE with 12.32V and 407CCA out of 660CCA. Recommend replace battery and retest electrical system. Alternator charging 14.82 Positive cable 0.03 Negative cable 0.04 No excessive draws found on system ************************************************************* Thank you for taking the time to contact us about this problem and I look forward to speaking with you to resolve this and earn your 5 star business in the future.
