I was quoted $458 to change to 2 spark plugs and ignition coils in my 2013 F150, and over $900 for a replacement of my backup camera, with NO assurance, the emblem would be usable after the fact. Oh, by the way all while I was in the hospital.

Good afternoon John, I am sorry your last visit was not to your satisfaction. The spark plug and coil you had recently replaced was not working correctly and we were recommending to replace 2 of the 8 you had just done with a new high quality coils and plugs so the misfires from those two cylinders would not continue. This would also had come with the 3 year, 36,000 mile parts and labor warranty and both the high quality pats ,warranty and labor will cost more than when you do the work yourself. The rear camera you were concerned about has a plastic emblem that at times will not come off with the plastic clips not breaking, we do try very hard to not have these break but at times it does and would need to be replaced. The quote was to have this on the estimate only if they did break so you knew all this upfront and would have been not replaced had the clips stayed in place. We do appreciate your valuable feed back and for allowing us to replace the vacuum pump. I also do wish you a speedy recovery and will call you to discuss what you feel will make this last visit fair for you. Thank you again and I Iook forward to speaking with you soon. Craig

I'm a disabled USMC Vietnam vet, wounded in Vietnam and now dealing with Stage 4 Melanoma. My son and I flew from Oregon to pick up the van I won on eBay, from a person in Frisco, TX. The owner dropped the van, keys and signed title off at the hotel I was staying at, before I arrived, without ever meeting with me and going over the van, for our ride back to Oregon. It turned out that the van had both front tire stem, battery and steering column issues, along with no heat at all, just to name a few. These problems were never mentioned in the eBay listing. So, after calling for a tow, because the van was not driveable, it was towed to Craig's Car Care (CCC). The men at CCC were able to replace the front 2 tire stems, steering column and battery, so we could begin our drive back to Oregon. Because there was an electrical short, I had to remove the plus cable from the battery at night when we checked into a hotel. We were truly stuck as I couldn't drive the van in its condition as it was. The guys at CCC did a fine job with the steering column, tires and battery, to where I could carefully and slowly drive the van home. I must say that, other than the seller of the van, who lives in Frisco but is from New Hampshire, everyone else I met in Texas were very supportive and helpful to me as I was in a very difficult situation. This van was purchased to be the vehicle that would help bring local veterans to the VA hospital in Portland for our scheduled treatments. It still needs more repairs done to it to safely drive on the road, but we never could have made it back to Oregon without their assistance. When I needed help they came through for us in a big way. Now all I can try to do is to seek legal measures against the seller/owner. I'll always be grateful for Craig's Car Care for helping us in a very difficult situation. They were True Professionals.
